This is the beginning of unit 4. We only have this outcome and one other for 'Creating and Presenting' left!!!!

Almost there now.

Your teacher would have screened the film in class and you may have had a brief discussion about it. On the holidays you will be doing some character work so that you can get a head start on this film. This means that you have to watch it over the holidays yourself. I recommend viewing the extras as well as you will get valuable information about the filmmaker and her ideas here.

You will be required to write about the author's intentions and the ways that author's make meaning from texts. In order to do this with a film text you will need to discuss film techniques such as camera angles, shot length, lighting, props, viewpoints etc. We will be working through some

I'll upload the file of the study guide which came from the DVD on this site in 'Shared Folders'. Happy Holidays!
This is a great resource, i love the way the site has hyperlinks to other helpful sites. The site needs a little something to make it standout, too bad you cant. Oh by the way miss, do you know any other sites that are helpful for studying conflict in The Secret River?
Thanks.
